Here is a look at all the celebrations that happened!
All month long we gave away party favors!
To thank those supporting Rising Tide with a financial contribution, we sent special party favors as a big “Thank you!” Different donation amounts received unique party favors, from social media shoutouts to Rising Tide merch. Our top five donors also received full RTS swag bags!
Rising Tide State of the Union
We hosted a special celebratory State of the Union address from President Brittanny Taylor and Executive Director Wendy Zook on Monday, June 24 sharing updates on the community and what’s coming up next.

Virtual Birthday Party
On Thursday, June 27 we hosted our Virtual Birthday Party for the community. We even gave away prizes to celebrate!
Limited Edition Merch
Artist Nimah Johnson created a special design to celebrate our birthday with limited edition merch. T-shirts and tote bags were available.
Regional Chapter Celebrations
Our local chapters also hosted celebrations with their members in person and virtually. Take a look at some of the gatherings that took place in June:
Birmingham celebrated with a Birthday Brunch.
North Shore/Northern Illinois grabbed food and drinks and local business Lindy’s Landing.
Rhode Island met up at Providence brewery Long Live Beerworks for a workshop led by video production company Little City Media and celebrated Rising Tide’s birthday with cake.
Twin Cities got together at Block Portrait Studios. Guest expert Sara Gawanski spoke to the group about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google My Business Profiles. Members enjoyed coffee, donuts, and other treats to celebrate nine years of Rising Tide!

Greenville & Asheville chapters co-hosted an All Day CEO Retreat and celebrated RTS’s 9th Birthday! RTS Business Owners & Entrepreneurs gathered in the iconic city of Greenville, SC for a fully planned day to unplug, enjoy, and upgrade their business! Activities included a content crawl, a creative practice, food & drink + fun & games!
Pasadena celebrated with a birthday lunch meetup, cake included.
