Rising Tide has entered a new era as an organization created for and by the community, now fiercely independent and operating as a nonprofit 501(c)(3).
There is beauty in this new version of “us” – the dreaming of dreams for small business owners like you and the creation of resources and education to make your small business truly succeed. These resources are guided by your feedback and the research we conduct on how to best support small business owners.
In this new era, there is also the necessity of finding sustainable ways to fund these initiatives – by asking our valued members for their financial support. While asking for financial support from our community isn’t easy, we do it because we believe fiercely in the work we’re doing for you, and your tax-deductible contributions make it all possible.
Rising Tide believes that your business should do something that half of businesses in their first five years don’t do – survive. Our plans for 2025 are filled with programs to help you tackle overwhelm, manage finances and pricing, build a strong team, and care for your clients. We can’t wait to bring our community together to make business ownership that much easier and – dare we say it – enjoyable.
Consider Rising Tide this Giving Tuesday
December 3, 2024, we’ll be celebrating Rising Tide’s future as part of Giving Tuesday, a day that brings the largest fundraising push to nonprofits and charities across the world. Our goal is to raise $2,500 for Giving Tuesday, which will directly fund new programming and events for the first half of 2025. That’s just 100 people contributing $25 or 50 people giving $50.

In 2025, we’re celebrating *TEN* years of supporting small business owners – we have influenced and impacted thousands and thousands of lives and businesses in this decade. And guess what? We’re just getting started.
In the coming weeks on our social media, you’re going to see Rising Tide members, leaders, and team members share their “why” – what Rising Tide has meant for them and their businesses and the impact it has made on hundreds of communities around the world.
Connection and education are at the core of our community and we can’t wait to bring more of that to you.
